This qualification describes the skills and knowledge required to perform advanced design manufacture, repair and installation of stained glass and leadlighting, including heritage conservation.

Work involves self-directed application of knowledge and skills, with substantial depth in some areas where judgement is required in planning and selecting appropriate equipment, services and techniques for self and others.

Application 

This qualification is typically used to develop advanced skills and knowledge in stained glass and leadlighting design and heritage conservation, plus initiation of alternative approaches to skills or knowledge application across a broad range of technical and/or management requirements, evaluation and coordination. Work would involve participation in development of strategic initiatives, as well as personal responsibility and autonomy in performing complex technical operations or organising others.
