Work involves self-directed application of knowledge and skills, with substantial depth in some areas where judgement is required in planning and selecting appropriate equipment, services and techniques for self and others.

Application 

This qualification is typically used to develop advanced skills and knowledge in stained glass and lead lighting design and heritage conservation plus initiation of alternative approaches to skills or knowledge application across a broad range of technical and/or management requirements, evaluation and co-ordination. Work would involve participation in development of strategic initiatives, as well as personal responsibility and autonomy in performing complex technical operations or organising others. This qualification may be accessed by direct entry. Credit can be granted towards this qualification by those who have completed LMF30602 Certificate III in Glass and Glazing with relevant units included in this qualification or achieved equivalent industry experience.
