Release 1. This is the first release of this unit of competency in the TLI Transport and Logistics Training Package.
Application
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to sample, inspect and test products to specifications in accordance with relevant regulations, codes of practice, Australian Standards and workplace quality standards within the transport and logistics industry. It includes establishing specifications and testing procedures, selecting evidence, conducting and interpreting tests, and reporting findings as part of operations. Work is performed under limited supervision, generally within a team environment. Discretion and judgement are exercised in planning and using resources, services and processes to achieve required outcomes within organisational policy and procedures. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. |
