Qualification Description
This qualification is designed for mobile crane operation within the Transport and Logistics Industry and other industries. It involves a broad range of skilled applications applied in a wide variety of contexts. Successful achievement of the high risk work (HRW) and heavy vehicle licensing units in the qualification must align with applicable licensing and regulatory requirements. People seeking certification for HRW licensing units should check the requirements with Safe Work Australia. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication. ^ From 1 July 2022 the elective units HLTAID003, HLTAID006 must no longer be delivered and will be replaced in the Packaging Rules by the units HLTAID011, HLTAID014 - for more information see: https://asqa.gov.au/news-events/news/reminder-about-superseded-hlt-first-aid-units |

Packaging Rules
A total of 17 units of competency comprising: 12 core units listed below plus 5 general elective units from the general elective units listed below. Up to 3 of the general elective units may be selected from any relevant nationally endorsed Training Package or accredited course. The general elective units must contribute to the vocational outcomes of the qualification. Where imported units are selected, care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisite units specified are complied with. Where a prerequisite unit is attached to a unit, it is identified by this symbol ∟. Note: To comply with the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work, TLILIC0008 Licence to operate a non-slewing mobile crane (greater than 3 tonnes capacity) must be achieved before commencing TLILIC0010 Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 20 tonnes). |

Qualification Mapping Information
This qualification replaces and is equivalent to TLI31718 Certificate III in Mobile Crane Operations. |
