1. Arrange artificial teeth for try-in |
1.1 Select the artificial teeth in accordance with prescription 1.2 Arrange artificial teeth in current edentulous area in accordance with prescription |
2. Construct a surgical template |
2.1 Finalise the ridge shape 2.2 Duplicate and pour model 2.3 Construct surgical template |
3. Arrange artificial teeth for finish |
3.1 Remove stone model teeth individually and prepare the ridge in accordance with prescription 3.2 Arrange artificial teeth in sequence as each model tooth is removed 3.3 Adjust existing artificial teeth if necessary when commencing removal of model teeth 3.4 Contour wax surfaces |
4. Process immediate dentures |
4.1 Trim and polish immediate dentures 4.2 Process surgical template 4.3 Trim and polish surgical template 4.4 Decontaminate the denture and template according to infection control guidelines 4.5 Place denture and template in a suitable container which will keep moist in accordance with infection control guidelines |
