Description
This skill set is for people wishing to work as a Forest or harvesting technical officer in a commercial native forest operation in the harvesting and haulage and forest growing and management sectors of the forest and wood products industry.
Pathways Information
These units provide credit towards a number of qualifications including FWP30116 Certificate III in Forest Growing and Management and FWP30216 Certificate III in Harvesting and Haulage.
Licensing/Regulatory Information
In a number of jurisdictions some of these units are required for the issuing of a forest operator or timber harvesting operator licence.
