Application
This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to provide specialist safety case advice. It includes identifying and analysing safety case issues, formulating options, and providing specialist safety case advice. This unit applies to Defence workers involved in the evaluation and review of safety cases but is applicable to all individuals who work in this field. The skills and knowledge described in this unit must be applied within the legislative, regulatory and policy environment in which they are carried out. Organisational policies and procedures must be consulted and adhered to. Persons undertaking this unit work independently and as part of a team under direct and indirect supervision, and perform routine tasks in familiar contexts. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. |
