This unit covers the competency required to operate a service hand grenade. Operating a service hand grenade involves the ability to safely handle, safely maintain, safely throw the grenade and obtain a satisfactory throwing accuracy in accordance with organisational standards. The assessment is to include the handling and throwing of live HE grenades and to achieve blast effect on the targets. |
