Individuals must demonstrate they can:
- follow workplace receipt and despatch procedures
- apply work health and safety (WHS) requirements when receiving and dispatching materials
- interpret production schedules and short lead times
- receive, check and store materials, components and parts, equipment and tools
- dispatch materials, components, tools and equipment according to production requirements.
Knowledge Evidence
Individuals must be able to demonstrate knowledge of:
- WHS requirements relating to receiving and dispatching vehicle components, including handling and storage methods for materials, components, tools and equipment
- workplace procedures for receiving and dispatching material, components and parts, equipment and tools
- lead time procedures relating to receiving and dispatching vehicle components

Assessment Conditions
Assessors must satisfy SNR/AQTF assessor requirements.
Competency is to be assessed in the workplace or a simulated environment that accurately reflects performance in a real workplace setting.
Where assessment of competency includes third-party evidence, individuals must provide evidence that links them to receiving and dispatching vehicle components, e.g. production orders.
Assessors must verify performance evidence through questioning on skills and knowledge to ensure correct interpretation and application.
The following resources must be made available:
- automotive manufacturing workplace or simulated workplace
- a range of materials, components, tools and equipment required for the production process
- production schedules relating to receiving and dispatching vehicle components
- continuous improvement indicators relevant to the production process
- workplace procedures relating to receiving and dispatching vehicle components
- work sheets and quality control documentation relevant to the production process.
