Employability Skill 

Employability Skills Statement 

Defence qualifications have core units (which must be achieved) and elective units (where there is a choice of units which must be achieved) so different Employability Skills Summaries are possible within the one qualification, depending on the package of core units and chosen elective units.

Communication 

• adjust own communication styles to reflect equity and diversity principles
• apply appropriate techniques when providing constructive feedback to other team members and when giving and receiving support to/from team members
• apply interpersonal and cross-cultural communication strategies
• communicate information quickly, clearly and accurately
• complete and maintain documentation and records
