This course is intended to provide learners with a range of knowledge and skills to perform the following functions as a tug boat Master:
• Handle a tug boat safely using basic manoeuvres
• Manoeuvre a tug boat near obstacles
• Conduct tug boat manoeuvres whilst underway
• Conduct securing and detaching procedures
• Conduct drills in relation to tug boat emergency procedures.
