Modification History

Release 3. This is the third release of this qualification in the TLI Transport and Logistics Training Package. The following changes have been made:

  • TLILIC2001 Licence to operate a forklift truck has been replaced with TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck
  • TLILIC2002 Licence to operate an order picking forklift truck has been replaced with TLILIC0004 Licence to operate an order picking forklift truck.

Release 2. This is the second release of this qualification in the TLI Transport and Logistics Training Package. The following unit has been updated with a new code:

  • TLID0001 Load and unload vehicles carrying special loads.

Release 1. This is the first release of this qualification in the TLI Transport and Logistics Training Package.

Qualification Description

This is a general qualification for the Warehousing and Storage Industry.

It involves a defined range of skilled operations, usually within a range of broader related activities involving known routines, methods and procedures, with some discretion and judgement in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures and within known time constraints.

No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for this qualification.

Packaging Rules

A total of 19 units of competency  comprising:

3 core units  listed below plus 

16 general elective units  from the general elective units listed below. Up to 3 of the general elective units  may be selected from any relevant nationally endorsed Training Package or accredited course. The general elective units must contribute to the vocational outcomes of the qualification.

Where imported units are selected, care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisite units specified are complied with.
