Graduates will be able to meet the current and future industry requirements to work effectively within the Australian clinical trials environment with the skills and knowledge to:
• prepare high quality applications to conduct clinical trial research
• plan for objectives and deliverables based on practical, legal, ethical, scientific and organisational protocols, procedures and research government principles
• ensure safety of research participants; integrity of each research project; effective use of research funds and responsible conduct of research through precise project planning, compliance and accountability measures
• apply appropriate frameworks and methodologies to clinical trial planning and assessment
• apply effective communication techniques and strategies to facilitate efficient application processes and successful authorisation outcomes
• facilitate efficient application processes and quality to develop timely and successful authorisation outcomes
• make considered judgements on the quality of applications, prior to submission, and in the recommendation of improvements as required
• make considered judgements on site assessment and submission of application to enable timely and successful authorisation outcomes
