Application
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to set up and configure the wireless capabilities of communications and data storage devices. It includes applying safe working practices, checking device software installation, following work instructions and procedures, and completing documentation. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. |

Device installation is checked in accordance with job specifications and relevant industry standards |

Status of relevant function of the device is entered and parameters set in accordance with manufacturer specifications |

Entered data is checked in accordance with workplace procedures and job specifications |

Workplace procedures for referring unplanned events to supervisor for directions are followed |

Test device operation and report |

Device operation is tested |
