Unit of competency
Modification History
Release 1. This is the first release of this unit of competency in the UEE Electrotechnology Training Package. |
Application
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to provide solutions and report on electrotechnology problems. It includes performing relevant numerical calculations to identify workplace electrotechnology problems, applying relevant problem-solving techniques, using a range of fundamental mathematical processes and techniques to resolve problems and documenting the solution/s. Typical electrotechnology problems are those encountered in meeting routine performance requirements and compliance with industry standards, interpreting the operating parameters of equipment and dealing with equipment malfunctions. Typical reports are those based on routine structures and formats and require the application of routine communication fundamentals. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. |
