Release 1.  This is a new Skill Set. This is the first release of this Skill Set in the TLI Transport and Logistics Training Package.

This Skill Set defines the skills and knowledge required for road transport trainers who will be training individual or groups as a Motorcycle Rider Trainer. This Skill Set is designed to provide existing trainers who hold the TLI41222 Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training, with additional skills and knowledge to further their career to train in a motorcycle vehicle driving discipline.

This Skill Set is part of the TLI Transport and Logistics Training Package.

In some jurisdictions this Skill Set is required in addition to the TLI41222 Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training.

Entry Requirements

Prior to undertaking this Skill Set individuals are required to have obtained TLI41222 Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training, or equivalent qualification.

Individuals seeking certification should check with the relevant state/territory regulator.

A total of 3 units of competency  must be attained.

This Skill Set is for those who hold the TLI41222 Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training with a vehicle specialisation category other than motorcycle.

This TLISS00234 Motorcycle Rider Training Skill Set from the TLI Transport and Logistics Training Package, when accompanied with the TLI41222 Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training, meets industry requirements for Motorcycle Rider Trainers who train individuals or groups.

The Skill Set content will need to be customised for Motorcycle Rider Training.
