Application
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to identify railway fundamentals. This includes the track, trackside equipment, fixed structures, rail vehicles and rolling stock. This unit is intended for railway network controllers entering the rail industry who will be required to work in a rail workplace. Work is performed under limited supervision with general guidance on progress and outcomes. It involves discretion and judgement for self in developing plans to meet customer and railway network needs. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. |
