Release 1. This is the first release of this unit of competency in the TLI Transport and Logistics Training Package.
Application
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to develop emergency management plans for response and recovery of rail networks. It includes identifying factors that contribute to degraded rail operations, and developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating emergency response and recovery strategies, in accordance with regulatory and organisational requirements. This unit can be applied to freight, heavy haul or metropolitan and regional passenger rail systems. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. |
