Release 1. This is the first release of this unit of competency in the TLI Transport and Logistics Training Package.
Application
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to certify rolling stock as fit for purpose in accordance with relevant organisational procedures, rail industry standards, rules, regulations and codes of practice. It includes completing certification and documentation in accordance with organisational or client requirements. This unit applies to workers required to carry out these activities as part of a maintenance role within a defined location on behalf of their own or a client’s organisation. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. |
