Application
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to connect and disconnect (refrigerated) reefer units in accordance with workplace requirements as part of work activities in the stevedoring, transport, distribution and allied industries. It includes connecting and disconnecting reefer units to/from power sources and identifying and reporting any faults and damage with reefer unit operation. Work is performed under some supervision generally within a team environment. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. |
