Qualification Description
This is a qualification for a person engaged in the control of rail traffic or tram/light rail networks. This qualification requires a broad range of skilled applications within the rail control environment. It also requires the skills and knowledge to evaluate and analyse current practices, to develop new criteria and procedures, and to provide some leadership and guidance to others in their work. Packaging Rules
A total of 15 units of competency comprising:
Up to 3 of the general elective units may be selected from any relevant nationally endorsed Training Package. The general elective units must contribute to the vocational outcomes of the qualification. Where imported units are selected, care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisite units specified are complied with. |
