Requirements for completion of the qualification

Note about regulations: RIIERR302A and RIIGOV201A are Mandatory in NSW

Successful completion of thirteen (13) units of competency made up of:

five (5) mandatory units, and
eight (8) elective units of which:

at least six (6) must come from the specified electives listed below
up to two (2) from the general electives listed below or from Certificate II, Certificate III or Certificate IV level from this, or any other Training Package

Units chosen must be relevant to the job function.

Care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisites specified within imported units, or units chosen as electives, are complied with.
