This unit covers the competency required to undertake surveillance patrols as part of a team during land operations in the Australian Defence Force (ADF). Surveillance patrols are conducted to both maintain security and to gain information . Surveillance patrolling is carried out in both forward and rear areas to detect, locate, identify and report on threats and to monitor the threat environment. |
