Application
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to apply the risk management principles of the water industry standards, guidelines and legislation. It includes identifying relevant guidelines of the water industry, describing risk management principles for the control of contaminants in the water cycle, applying principles to work context and reviewing and evaluating water quality management principles. It also includes complying with risk management principles established in relevant guidelines for the water industry which contribute to the improved management of water supply systems and the reduction of water quality risks. This unit supports the attainment of skills and knowledge required for those working in all roles in the water industry. Those undertaking this unit would work under appropriate supervision, while performing routine tasks in a range of contexts. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. |
