Qualification Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals exercising leadership or change management functions in an organisation using lean principles and other competitive systems and practices.
This qualification provides specialised skills and knowledge in competitive systems and practices with an emphasis on value chain liaison and development of a supporting culture within an organisation. It builds on previously acquired skills and knowledge and applies to team leaders, managers and technical experts responsible for implementing competitive systems and practices in an organisation or who are working in part of a value chain linked to an organisation implementing competitive systems and practices.
No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
Entry Requirements
Entrants to the MSS80316 Graduate Certificate in Competitive Systems and Practices are required to have one or more of the following:
- a Certificate IV qualification or higher in competitive systems and practices, management, technical or related discipline
- work experience at a team leader or technical specialist role or higher in an organisation.
Packaging Rules
Total number of units = Four (4)
- Four (4) elective units, consisting of:
- at least three (3) units from Group A
- up to one (1) units from any endorsed Training Package or accredited course at Certificate IV or above.
All electives chosen must contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.
