Qualification Description
This qualification reflects the role of a person working at the post-trade level in a recreational vehicle manufacturing or service and repair facility who has a specialist and/or leadership role, including roles in sales supervision, estimating, production planning and production supervision.
The worker would commonly lead a work team and supervise people, provide technical leadership and undertake some tasks themselves, for which they would have a trade qualification and preferably either MSM31122 Certificate III in Recreational Vehicle Manufacturing or MSM31022 Certificate III in Recreational Vehicle Service and Repair. The facility in which they work may range from a large manufacturing organisation to a small workshop.
Their role may include evaluating and analysing current practices, developing new criteria and procedures for current practices and providing leadership and guidance to others in applying recreational vehicle manufacturing, servicing and repairing competencies.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
Packaging Rules
To be awarded the MSM41122 Certificate IV in Recreational Vehicles, competency must be achieved in 15 units of competency, comprising:
- seven core units
- eight elective units, comprising:
- at least three Group A elective units
- at least two Group B elective units
- up to three units from any endorsed Training Package or accredited course. These units must be relevant to the work outcome.
