Application
This unit of competency defines the skills and knowledge required to set computer controlled machines and processes.
All technical difficulties are resolved in consultation with appropriate technical advisers.
Where the setting of non-computer controlled machines or processes is required unit MEM07003 Perform routine machine setting should be selected.
Where the selection and use of general machining is required unit MEM07005 Perform general machining should be selected.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
