1 Perform receival, despatch and distribution procedures |
1.1 Baled wool is moved, placed and stacked in a safe manner following regulatory requirements and workplace standard procedures 1.2 Bales are placed and removed from and between vehicles, plant and storage areas using correct equipment and workplace standard procedures 1.3 Bales are placed in correct areas 1.4 Work area and equipment are cleaned and maintained to meet workplace and OHS practices 1.5 Equipment is prepared, started and used in accordance with all safety and workplace standard procedures 1.6 Equipment is stopped or shut down in accordance with all safety and workplace standard procedures 1.7 Areas for marshalling and processing are identified 1.8 Instructions, signs or labels for designated batches or specified purposes are correctly followed 1.9 Minor maintenance and cleaning are performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and workplace procedures |
2 Monitor quality |
2.1 Procedures for the identification of incoming and outgoing bales are applied 2.2 Procedures for the storage and movement of product are identified and applied 2.3 Any deviations from normal are recognised, isolated and reported 2.4 Environmental requirements and procedures concerned with waste, pollution and recycling of materials are correctly applied at all stages of the process |
3 Communicate stores information |
3.1 Paperwork from drivers and workplace personnel is collected, interpreted and applied 3.2 Information regarding operations in work area is correctly relayed to and from other operators, shifts and supervisory personnel 3.3 Documentation is correctly interpreted and records of receivals, despatch and movement correctly completed according to statutory requirements and workplace standard procedures |
