Target Group

This skill set has been endorsed by industry for workers who hold a qualification at the level of Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Practice or Diploma of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Practice or commensurate industry skills as evaluated through recognition of prior learning processes.

Application of this skill set is only appropriate under the supervision of a relevant health professional and as a member of a health care team.

This skill set provides a pathway for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Workers to specialise in the provision of advanced primary health care practice for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander clients and communities
