Pathways Information

These units may provide credit towards Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care qualifications higher than the Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care.

Licensing/Regulatory Information

No licensing, legislative or certificate requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Skill Set Requirements

This skill set has been endorsed by industry for workers who hold a qualification at Certificate IV level or higher in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or commensurate industry skills as evaluated through recognition of prior learning processes.

Target Group

This skill set provides a pathway for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Workers to specialise in the provision of eye care.

Application of this skill set is only appropriate under the supervision of a relevant health professional and as a member of a health care team.
