Application
This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to record the details of intercepted target communications. It includes logging intercepted communications and reporting items of interest. The skills and knowledge described in this unit must be applied within the legislative, regulatory and policy environment in which they are carried out. Organisational policies and procedures must be consulted and adhered to. This unit applies to Defence persons working in electronic warfare and signals intelligence fields but may be applicable to any persons working in a similar role. Typically, persons undertaking this unit work independently with indirect supervision, and perform complex tasks in familiar and unfamiliar contexts. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. |
