Unit Descriptor
This unit covers the competency required to perform ceremonial drill movements and to participate in ceremonial activities.
Ceremonial drill fosters discipline, team work and a sense of collective identity while providing an appropriate means to physically commemorate the unique history, customs and traditions of military service.
Application of the Unit
This unit of competency would typically apply to a member of the Australian Defence Force.
Ceremonial activities are performed individually, usually as part of a team and under orders.
