Qualification details

Release 1. This is the first release of this unit of competency in the DEF Defence Training Package.

This qualification allows for the attainment of competencies in explosive ordnance proof and experimental operations.

No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

14 units of competency are required for this qualification comprising:

• 2 core units, plus
• 12 elective units.

Choose a minimum of 10 elective units from the list below, of which at least 7 must be taken from Group A.

Choose the remaining 2 elective units from the list below or from elsewhere within this Training Package, or from another endorsed Training Package, or from an accredited course.

All elective units selected from outside this qualification must reflect the occupational and learning outcomes of this AQF qualification level. Seek further advice on selecting imported units of competency in the DEF Defence Training Package Companion Volume Implementation Guide.
