Employability Skill 

Employability Skills Statement 

Defence qualifications have core units (which must be achieved) and elective units (where there is a choice of units which must be achieved) so different Employability Skills Summaries are possible within the one qualification, depending on the package of core units and chosen elective units.

Communication 

• adjust communication styles to reflect equity and diversity principles
• apply appropriate techniques when providing constructive feedback to other team members and to give and receive support to/from team members
• complete workplace forms and reports
• comply with Laws of armed conflict
• ensure documentation is completed
• ensure equipment is identified and selected in accordance with instructions
