Unit Descriptor
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to develop and implement plans for public relations activities within an organisation.
Application of the Unit
The skills and knowledge outlined in this unit are relevant to owner/managers of small businesses, departmental managers within organisations and marketing personnel.
At this level individuals are working independently and are expected to apply theoretical concepts in a broad range of contexts, which involve contingency planning and devising solutions to unpredictable problems.

Method of assessment |
A range of assessment methods should be used to assess practical skills and knowledge. The following examples are appropriate for this unit:
