Qualification Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a range of mainly routine tasks using limited practical skills and fundamental operational knowledge in a defined context, working under direct supervision.
The volume of learning of a Certificate II is typically 0.5 – 1 year.

Packaging Rules
Total number of units = 9
5 core units plus
4 elective units , of which:
- up to 4 units may be from Group A
- up to 2 units may be from Group B
- up to 2 units may be from an accredited course or any currently endorsed Training Package at Certificate II or III level.
The elective units chosen must be relevant to the work outcome and meet local industry needs.
