This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to create choreography for stage and screen productions, including synchronising dance with stage and screen sequences.
The unit applies to those who collaborate with a wide range of creative and technical personnel to create choreography that enhances the storyline or mood of stage and screen productions. Individuals may be creating choreography for any dance style or combination of dance styles, as well as other artistic forms, such as singing and acting. At this level, choreographers display a high level of autonomy, motivation and judgement as they take responsibility for the quality of the final choreography.
