Application
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to prepare, record and replay material for transmission in line with technical standards and production requirements. Individuals ensure recording is set up correctly, access feeds and receive incoming signals, record content, and manage transmissions.
The unit applies to those who maintain the technical quality of vision and audio signals that go to air. Even though they may work directly under a supervisor, they frequently carry a high level of responsibility for their own activities and can be responsible for supervising others.
