Qualification Description
This qualification reflects the role of dancers with the necessary technique and talent to work in professional dance companies. At this level individuals are expected to apply wide-ranging, highly specialised technical, creative and conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives. They have autonomy in performing complex operations and can be expected to apply initiative and judgement in planning, design, and technical or management functions.

No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
Entry Requirements
An audition or other form of evidence where the candidate demonstrates competence in at least one dance style at Diploma level.
Packaging Rules
Total number of units = 18
7 core units plus
11 elective units , of which:
- a minimum of 5 units must be from Group A
- of the remaining units:
- up to 6 units may be from Group A and/or Group B
- up to 3 units may be from an accredited course or any currently endorsed Training Package qualification at Diploma level or above.
The elective units chosen must be relevant to the work outcome and meet local industry needs.
