Qualification Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who create, deliver and monitor arts and health programs for a wide variety of clients and contexts in the arts and health industry. This qualification is intended to reflect a collaboration between the Arts and Health sectors. The individuals completing this qualification generally have previous experience in the Arts and/or Health sectors.
The job roles that relate to this qualification may include arts and health practitioner, leisure and lifestyle officer, day-care facilitator, creative practitioner, community arts worker, and arts and health coordinator.

Units of competency in qualification
Some individual units of competency may have their own licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements. Users must check individual units of competency for licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements relevant to that unit.
Entry Requirements
Individuals must provide evidence of skills and knowledge equivalent to Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level 3 or above, and relevant to the work environment and the qualification.
Packaging Rules
Total number of units = 12
5 core units plus
7 elective units , of which:
- at least 5 must be from Group A
- up to 2 may be from the remaining listed electives or any other currently endorsed Certificate IV or above training package qualification or accredited course.
Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the overall integrity of the AQF alignment, not duplicate the outcome of another unit chosen for the qualification, and contribute to a valid industry-supported vocational outcome.
