Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in a wide variety of community-based performance and production contexts, which can often focus on the maintenance of cultural heritage. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others and have limited responsibility for the output of others.

Total number of units = 15
5 core units plus
10 elective units
The elective units consist of:
- 3 units from Group A
- of the remaining units:
- up to 7 may be selected from Group A and/or B
- up to 3 may be selected from Group C
- up to 2 may be from a Certificate IV in any endorsed Training Package or accredited course
- 1 may be from a Certificate III or Diploma in any endorsed Training Package.
The elective units chosen must be relevant to the work outcome and meet local industry needs.
