Unit Descriptor
This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to select and obtain pest management vehicles, equipment and materials to deliver pest management services to clients. It involves an understanding of the services to be delivered and the specifications of equipment and materials that can support these services and which comply with legislative and public health and safety requirements. The selection of vehicles, equipment and materials requires the ability to assess equipment and chemical requirements, review product specifications and marketing materials, and select suitable acquisition arrangements.
