How to find the information and present it in a manner that meets organisational needs in short timeframes is important, as is the ability to manage time effectively. |

4. Evaluate completed tender documentation. |
4.1. Preliminary evaluation of completed tender documentation is conducted. 4.2. Tender documents and calculations are checked to ensure conformity with company financial and administrative guidelines. |
5. Obtain tender approval or endorsement. |
5.1. Tender documentation is provided to the appropriate staff member for approval or endorsement. 5.2. Final documents, including amendments, are prepared for submission to the client. |

Overview of assessment |
This unit of competency could be assessed by the preparation of complete tender documentation for a construction contract. This unit of competency can be assessed in the workplace or a close simulation of the workplace environment, provided that simulated or project-based assessment techniques fully replicate construction workplace conditions, materials, activities, responsibilities and procedures. |

This competency is to be assessed using standard and authorised work practices, safety requirements and environmental constraints.
