Application
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to demonstrate senior leadership behaviour and personal and professional competence. Business ethics are also addressed in this unit.
The unit applies to individuals who have a role in modelling professionalism in their organisation and industry and inspiring and motivating others to achieve organisational goals. Leadership is seen in the context of the organisational mission.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.

1. Communicate organisational mission and goals |
1.1 Confirm objectives, values and standards according to organisation’s strategic direction 1.2 Establish links between organisational objectives, values and standards and the responsibilities of relevant groups and individuals 1.3 Confirm that media and language used for communicating organisational mission and goals meets the needs of individuals and group 1.4 State expectations of internal groups and individuals 1.5 Investigate incidents and communicate results to relevant groups and individuals according to organisational policies and procedures |
