This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to participate in the preparation and review of animal care education programs and their implementation within the community at large.

It may also apply to other animal care and management workers that deliver education programs in a community.

All work must be carried out to comply with workplace procedures according to state/territory health and safety and animal welfare regulations, legislation and standards that apply to the workplace.
