Qualification Description
The Diploma of Horse Stud Management describes the occupational outcome for those working on horse studs who manage enterprise operations and employees.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication. However, an individual unit of competency may specify relevant licensing, legislative and/or regulatory requirements. Specific determination should be sought through the relevant State or Territory.
Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
Packaging Rules
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in:
- 10 units of competency:
- 2 core units plus
- 8 elective units.
Elective units must ensure the integrity of the qualification’s Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome. The electives are to be chosen as follows:
- 6 from the electives listed below
- up to 2 from the remaining electives listed below and/or from any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course.
