The Course in Precision Metal Castings provides an accredited training program and vocational outcomes for individuals and paraprofessionals working or aspiring to work in the specialist industry of metal investment castings. The course is also available to school leavers wishing to pursue a career in metal castings.
The course provides graduates with the skills and knowledge to:
*perform precision metal investment castings
*perform de-waxing and melting of metals
*develop and manage slurries
*create shells
*perform toolmaking
*use mixed or blended reality technologies.

Nominal hours range from 300 to 330.
