The Course in Fire Rescue Emergency Medical Response, First Responder is designed to provide operational emergency service workers with the competencies to act as a Fire Rescue Emergency Medical Response, First Responder. The vocational outcomes include:
Providing an emergency medical response when so dispatched according to protocols agreed between Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) and Ambulance Victoria (AV) under arrangements approved by the Victorian Minister for Health.

This course provides Firefighters with specialist expertise that is supplementary to their existing knowledge of the FRV firefighting protocols.

22511VIC Course in Fire Rescue Emergency Medical Response, First Responder supersedes and is equivalent to 22270VIC Course in Fire Rescue Emergency Medical Response, First Responder.
