Description:

The Course in Building Information Modelling (BIM) provides an accredited training program and vocational outcomes for graduates at a para professional level.

This course will develop the required skills and knowledge to apply Building Information Modelling (BIM) compatible software to facilitate the management of projects and contribute to the future expansion of BIM in building construction.

Subject to the units selected, on completion participants will have the skills and knowledge to:
* Manage and use BIM workflow processes, including coordination, intergration, commissioning and handover
* Develop and establish effective integrated project delivery techniques to aid in collaboration, communication and workflows using BIM
* Manage environmentally sustainable design in BIM projects
* Manage the aplication of BIM digital fabrication.

Nominal hours 240 - 400.
