Description:

The proposed Diploma of Project Management for Prefabricated Building Systems (Timber) course provides an accredited training program and vocational outcomes for graduates at para professional level.
This course aligns with AQF Level 5 and provides graduates with the skills and knowledge required to undertake installation works using prefabricated timber building systems.
The graduates of this course will also contribute to the Victorian manufacturing and engineering industry in maintaining its’ competitiveness in a global market place by using advanced engineering practices, value adding to its products and services and the development of new and innovative products and processes.

On completion participants will have the skills and knowledge to:
• Project manage building constructions using pre-fabricated timber building systems
• Manage the procurement process associated with building construction
• Read and interpret plans and drawings for prefabricated timber building systems
• Manage the installation of pre-fabricated timber building systems
• Comply with relevant building codes and standards.

Nominal hours range from 552 to 620.
